Our Ownership
Frank Lee (CEO) is an entrepreneur in the truest sense of the word. With 30+ years of retail business experience spanning everything from restaurants to laundromats to real estate, Frank brings an acute business sense to his role as our strategic advisor.
Our History
In 1997, an enterprising young nail technician by the name of Ms. Tammy Pecho recognized the need for a high-quality institution devoted to the nail vocation in the south suburbs of Chicago. Fueled by passion and tremendous persistence, she opened a campus in Tinley Park and the Academy of Nail Technology was born. It has been in continuous operation ever since.
Frank Lee purchased the Academy in September of 2005.
In December 2007, the Academy opened its doors for the first time in its new home in Midlothian, Illinois. Today, though many changes have taken place, we are proud to still hold on to our founder's original values . . . a cutting-edge curriculum, hard work, and customer focus. The Academy enjoys an excellent reputation with high-end salons and spas throughout Illinois and will continue to do so in the years to come.
